City of St. Louis Leaves Black People Out to Dry After Tornado

Season 1 Episode 3

On Friday, May 16th a tornado swept through St. Louis, MO, devastating the north side African community. Homes and personal properties were destroyed. Uhuru Movement projects and member’s personal homes were also severely impacted. Lives were lost. The heaviest impact is concentrated in the African community, but the City and the media are covering it up, because it would expose, in part, that a tornado wasn’t needed to destroy and displace Black people from the community.

In this episode, we expose how historically these so-called natural disasters always result in total devastation for the African community, and call out the government for its failures, betrayals and intentions of further pushing out black people to sell the city to the highest bidder.

We show how African independence, self-determination and the anti-colonial struggle is where we find our solution. We can and must organize to do it for ourselves!
