Uhuru! I so enjoyed this discussion from you all. Huge Salute to you all for getting these updates/call to action to us viewers.

Im disgusted but not surprised by all these unjust attacks against the radio station following the FBI trial. Similarly, I can’t stop thinking about the defiance and power in Hinton’s walk out. So much love to black fathers who ARE raising their young African children to have them ripped away by the state. These modern colonizers continue the traditions of slave catchers with no remorse.

To any listeners: It’s on us viewers to be more unapologetically anti-colonial in how we move! it’s clear that colonial systems (world wide) are threatened by our refusal to lay down. We are resisting everywhere and unmasking the machine BUT we have to be organized, especially with our useful talents.

African internationalism is the best way to amplify resistance. This episode has motivated me to be more intentional with my own time and invest it where it’s needed, within the movement.

sn: love the culture/media convo and breakdown of African spaces in the horror genre. I’ve seen Sinners twice myself and those vamps were definitely trying to steal the culture—convert our talents to currency. So so so historically accurate lol. Can’t wait for more episodes!
